GEOFF DOWNES

SCOPESYNC IS HERE

In 1980, both Horn and Downes joined progressive rock band Yes. However following the release of the album Drama, Yes disbanded in 1981; Yes then reformed with Horn as producer, and Downes went on to create Asia with fellow former Yes member Steve Howe.

It is with a later incarnation of ASIA that Geoff discovered the Creamware NOAH and never looked back, purchasing two of them.

Further, at the Winter NAMM 2003 in Anaheim California, Geoff performed live for several hours a day over the four day show demonstrating the power of the NOAH.

He concluded that with NOAH, you can create some stunning yet original soundscapes at the same time allowing for a lot of sonic texture and detail in these classic sounds.

"This is truly fantastic! My respect to all of you, guys! Good things, open and useful, will unfold.  Thank you, also on behalf of Creamware and Sonic Core, what it was and what it is."  Holger said.  Others were similarly floored, speechless and impressed.

There are some videos to get new users up and running, and regarding compatibility, Will Ellis said "It should be compatible with all versions of Scope, although we've not tested on very old versions. Certainly Scope 4.5 onwards and Scope SDK 4.0 onwards."

Sharc thanked all and commented "What the project really needs to succeed is for the Scope community to simply give it a spin and let us know your thoughts or indeed contribute some modular patches and SDK devices which make use of it."

Together Geoff Downs  and Hans Zimmer formed 'the Buggles'. Apart they both exploited Scope to its fullest potential.

Geoff and Hans, along with Trevor Horn found success with the band's hit single 'Video Killed The Radio Star' in 1979.

Will Ellis and the BC Modular Team add a new layer of VST control functionality to Scope.

After years and months of BC Modular R&D, ScopeSync is a ground breaking innovation bringing accolades from Holger Drenkelfort himself.
