Dante:  Did you get any insights into the future of the SDK?

Hurolura:  Regarding the SDK, it would provide a more up to date way of designing Scope compatible devices getting rid of the not so nice and easy to use old way of implementing devices. The most important part is the user interface but also the included preset management.

Dante:  And what of those other shapes with the cloud at the top?

Hurolura:  There's a cloud, a phone and a tablet.  This means Open Scope should provide some new access to Scope technology.  With Copperlan integration, it would be possible to use phone or tablet as a remote controller for a Scope-based system.  CopperLan will allow one to have maximum flexibility regarding remote control of Scope devices.  And it will also allow to have much more accurate control than what is possible with MIDI.

Dante:  So I guess Sonic Core are diversifying their market?

Hurolura: Sonic Core decided to become a platform provider for any audio application project.  It obviously includes studio equipment such synthesizers, effects and mixers but their solutions could also be used in  other markets such as event drivers, broadcast and communications,  as the technologies provide real-time power and flexible solutions.

Dante:  That's great.  Any news on ParseQ?

Hurolura:  Julian's ParseQ project is still under development but Julian may need some more user feedback about what elements would be absolutely necessary to have an attractive working solution. The first release would probably provide basic features while also being used as a bridge between Scope and other DAW's to benefit from other DAWs more advanced features.

SiriusBliss:  Happy to see the progress on Open Scope.  Can't wait to see the latest and greatest!
